I expect good conduct from my players – Coach Wellington
Posted on: Mon Jul 23, 2012
Kotoko’s Reserve Team players resumed training sessions at the Adako Jachie with the firm resolve to improve on their sterling performance in the 2011/2012 season.
Speaking to Kotoko Express after their resumption, Coach Henry Wellington said he expects good conduct, discipline and hard work form his players adding that they would not move away from their prime focus of bringing up players who would graduate to the senior team.
“They all reported on the first day. We were back earlier than the senior team because we went a month before they left. I expect maximum cooperation, good conduct and discipline from my players. Having won the league, we will build on that achievement to get three or four players into the senior team” said Coach Wellington.
The Reserve Team went unbeaten throughout the 2011/2012 season until the last day when they were hammered 3-1 by Ashantigold at the Len Clay Stadium.
One of their key performers Kwadwo Poku has recently been promoted to the senior team.
