Kotoko worsen Bechem United's woes

Posted on: Sun May 13, 2012

The desire of relegation haunted Bechem united was dealt a heavy blow on Sunday afternoon as they surrendered their early minute lead to eventually lose 3-4 to Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Bechem United had hoped to win to up their accumulated points from the unimpressive 26 to 29, but they played so poorly that, the few people who watched the match at the stadium were the more convinced that they needed to go back to Division 1 to re-organize themselves before re-attempting premiership football.

Goals by Ahmed Toure (2 goals), Augustine Okrah and Daniel Nii Adjei were enogh to further widen Kotoko's hold on the League Log by 16 points.

For the records, though Bechem United has lost the home and away matches to Kotoko, they hold the enviable position as the only premier side club to have scored five league goals (2 in the first league 2-3 lose, and 3 in thier second round 3-4 lose) against Kotoko this season.
