The starting line-up against Ashgold last Sunday

Reawakening the fortress at Baba Yara

Kotoko enter Wednesday's fixture against Ebusua Dwarfs seeking their third straight triumph at home this season, and will be keen to address that run on home soil in the midweek fixture after recording maximum points against Inter Allies and Eleven Wonders.

Kotoko have slipped to sixth in the Premier League table after going down 2-0 in last Sunday's Ashanti Derby, whiles Ebusua Dwarfs finds itself at 13th position after their one all draw at Obuasi against Bechem United.

Ebusua Dwarfs have had a torrid campaign and they enter this fixture one place above the relegation zone, recording just a win in the opening five Premier League games, keeping only a clean sheet in their last 10 Premier League away games.

Going into Wednesday’s game, the strength of Samuel Fabin’s team may only be affected by the loss of Daniel Darkwah from last Sunday's duel in Obuasi and the absence of Mawuli Osei who will miss the encounter due to accumulated yellow cards. Meanwhile, we might see two left backs; Eric Donkor and Isaac Amponsah making it into our match day squad for the first time this season.

Samuel Fabin’s attacking line, haven’t been all what we’ve been looking for, with low scoring rate, but the defense line, have been awesome at home this season. They’ve got good leadership and compatibility at the back – letting in no goal, with Felix Annan keeping 2 clean sheets in the process, they’ve been one of the best defense so far in the league.

After going unbeaten last season at home, Asante Kotoko will be inspired by their home record against Ebusua Dwarfs, who have never won at Baba Yara against Asante Kotoko in any competition, losing five and drawing one in their last 6 visits. Their landmark draw at Baba Yara came last season when they drew goalless in their Match Day 11 Premier League fixture.

With the support of great attacking-minded players in the midfield, the attacking line will have a great chance to bang in the goals on Wednesday against Ebusua Dwarfs who have been porous on the road.
