Kotoko Express is back

Kotoko's official mouthpiece, the Kotoko Express, will on Friday April 6 return to the newsstands after a six-month break.

The paper went off the shelves in September last year following some operational difficulties encountered by the editorial section, then led by its Editor, Jerome Otchere.

The editor and his assistant, Bernard Nyakomago Yeboah, subsequently resigned due to personal reasons and the Dr. Kwame Kyei-led management delayed the comeback of the paper to revise its operations.

Head of Communications, Obed Acheampong, revealed the comeback to on Friday and said management has addressed most of the challenges and is looking forward to the paper's smooth run.

The Communications chief said: “We had a few challenges regarding personnel, our indebtedness to the Daily Graphic, the general focus and operations of the paper that needed to be tackled, and management. Glad to note that Dr. Kyei has dealt with most of them now and we're ready." He stated further that all outstanding issues concerning a smooth operation is currently being attended to and would be resolved with time."

Obed Acheampong said the paper will be out in the news stands on its usual schedule as before - Tuesdays and Fridays with authentic news and information from the club.

He however charged the supporters to patronise the paper to make it realise one of its purpose of raising revenue to support the club.
