Asante Kotoko SC Boosts Online Presence

Asante Kotoko SC Communications formally announces the club's official Social Media Accounts to shore up its engagement with fans and stakeholders.

Having successfully conduct a social media audit of its existing platforms, the club has revised it's online strategy to ensure greater engagement with her followers as well as a seamless flow of regular, authentic club news and information.

The club, focusing on the 3 most popular social media networks - Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, would like to encourage the growing number of fans on these networks to join our online community.

According to Obed Acheampong, Communications Director of Asante Kotoko SC, "the need for club to assert itself on virtual space is in response to the ever growing power of social media and it's influence in drawing fans and stakeholders closer to the club while growing our very powerful brand."

He stated that the now invigorated platforms would augment other official club information mediums to offer official club information to its followers and partners especially at a time when there's a global war waged against "Fake News."

Asante Kotoko Communications also wishes to announce the introduction of a number of new features and contents for our various social media platforms and these are in addition to the regular, up to date news on current happenings in the club. These include the "Goal Morning," which features classic Kotoko goals of old for positive nostalgia; "Way Back Wednesday" is the club's "social media museum" which throws back everything antique - memorable videos and photos.

The club has also introduced "Kotoko TV" (KAKTV online) as a new initiative by the Communications department that would serve followers with exclusive clips of club activities off the pitch, including special interview sessions with key actors - players, coaches and management.
